We can’t say enough positive things about these people. It’s been a real pleasure working with them for their in house dog training services.
I adopted Kassie about two years ago. Kassie was blessed with three really good legs, and one not so good leg. She’s a rescue that we picked up from Michigan. When I brought her home, I was looking forward to long walks with the dog, and we found that she doesn’t really walk like a normal dog. She hops, and I could not keep up with her. So what I did was I trying all kinds of things. Long leashes, short leashes, tethering myself to something, and nothing seemed to work.
So I sought out a dog trainer to help me with this. I gravitated to Sue very naturally, because one of our neighbors used her. Sue came out and within 10 minutes she had Kassie walking right beside her! The thing I think Sue did for me was teaching me how to be a good owner for the dog. She also taught me quite a bit of patience.
I’ve underestimated this dog. I kept on thinking, “she couldn’t do this.” But she can. She can do anything I ask of her, she does it. I guess she symbolizes another phase of our lives. We had another dog a long time ago, and we waited a very long time to get another one. I wasn’t sure about a rescue, but now I’m convinced that a rescue is the way to go. Very much so. The in house dog training has worked out very, very well. Kassie has become like a member of the family. ~ Richard
